- Site clearance over an area of 160,000m2 and enabling works including the construction of a fully serviced site compound and all temporary site access roads.
- Installation of 7,000m of mainline foul and surface water drainage lines up to 750mm diameter,
- Construction of all main line manholes, road gullies, separators and outfalls, with manholes up to a depth of 5.00m
- Bulk excavation of 30,000m3 for a new Park with associated wetlands.
- Disposal of circa 150,000m3 of excavated material off site. This involved the on-site processing of 70,000m3 of contaminated soil for reclassification to a different waste category.
- Cropping of 900 nr. precast concrete piles and leave ready for incorporation into in-situ concrete pile caps.
- Excavation for ground beams, foundations and pile caps to four apartment blocks. Filling and compaction of SR21 material to underside of FFL. Installation of all under-slab drainage and services.
- Construction of 200m long piped diversion (600mm) of existing river to facilitate the construction of the Works.
- Installation of 4,000m of PE watermain up to 250mm diameter, including all associated valves, fittings and house connections.
- Installation of circa 45,000m of ducting pipework for power, comms, public lighting with all associated chambers, mini-pillars, micro pillars etc.
- Hard landscaping to new park and wetlands, including the construction of a mixture of concrete and gravel footpaths (3,000m2), installation of landscape boulders, construction of 3 nr. in-situ concrete bridges and ground preparation for exercise area.
