Upgrade of surface water drainage network at a live manufacturing facility to ensure compliance with current EPA guidelines and regulations.

Demolition and removal of existing surface and kerbing to existing car parks to facilitate the Works.

Sheet piled cofferdam construction to facilitate the excavation and installation of one bypass and two full retention separators, the largest of which was 7.00m deep from existing surface level and had a silt storage capacity of 10,000L.

Installation of concrete surround to all separators and backfilling of all cofferdams upon installation of separators.

A substantial element of the project involved the identification, exposure, protection and in several instances, diversion of existing services that were located throughout the works area.

Excavation and installation of 100m of surface water drainage pipework to both replace and upgrade the existing drainage system, up to 600mm in diameter.

Construction of twelve new pre-cast concrete manholes to both replace and upgrade the existing system, ranging in depths up to 5.50m deep.

Installation of all ducting associated with the upgraded drainage system, including power cables to all separators.

Re-construction of the existing car parks following completion of the drainage upgrade works included all asphalt re-surfacing and associated kerbing, line marking, signage etc.
